Fil-Am BBQ Grill is a straightforward Filipino restaurant situated right on South Main Street in Orange, offering a casual spot for a hearty, flavorful meal without pretense. This place draws a mix of locals craving authentic Filipino barbecue and traditional dishes served in generous portions, making it a convenient stop for lunch or dinner, especially if you appreciate bold, home-style flavors.

The atmosphere here is relaxed and unassuming—think quick service and informal seating that suits both solo diners and small groups. It doesn’t aim for upscale dining but leans into the comfort of familiar Filipino favorites, making it a reliable go-to for regulars and newcomers alike.

The menu serves up a variety of classic dishes worth exploring, including favorites like Pancit varieties (Molo, Sotanghon, and Canton), hearty combos such as Beef Kaldereta and Dinuguan, and the ever-popular Pork BBQ. Vegetables aren’t overlooked either, with options like Pinakbet and a sizeable Vegetable Egg Roll. Pair your meal with a bowl of Halo-Halo to cool down if you’re stopping by on a warm afternoon.

People who frequent Fil-Am BBQ Grill often highlight consistent food quality—especially the well-seasoned grilled pork and seafood options—and fast, no-fuss service. It’s particularly suited for those wanting traditional Filipino dishes without a long wait, making it a practical lunch spot during busy weekdays or a casual dinner after a day out in town.

The vibe is friendly and straightforward, though some visitors note the staff can come off as a bit reserved, which fits the place’s focus on the food rather than hospitality flairs. For a taste of Filipino fare anchored in comfort and familiarity, this place serves a dependable, everyday dining experience right in the heart of Orange’s local food scene.

It’s one of the best places to have Filipino food, been there about 4-5 times and always happy with both the food and service

Food is always delicious and consistent. The BBQ meats are the best. There are tables to dine in. Been a regular customer since the restaurant was at the Mall of Orange. They moved to their new location last year.

I came here for lunch. It taste it good for being a fast good. Also the price was good. In general the food taste was really delicious. I will defenitly come back again. Reason I gave 4 start because I wished that the employers were little bit more friendly. Other than that I will give it 5 starts.

Great food. I really enjoyed the adobo recommend by the server. The Bangus (fish) was really good too.

Love this place! We were on the way for a spontaneous trip to LA county and.. wow! What a hidden gem! Every dish was fresh and perfectly cooked from the kalderetang kambing, pork bbq, bistek, and lechon kawali. I wish I could have posted better pics but we were so hungry We will return here again. Thank you for the owners for being so nice and accomodating early Sunday morning. You all made our day!

We used to go to the mall for their food and now that they have this new location we find it much better with more tables and more wide clean seating area. The food is still one of the best if not the best in the area. It’s fresh. The lechon kawali is a must try. I have to commend the owner Serran for her amiable excellent service. My partner from England definitely approved this location and fresh food as well.
